My dad Jimmie Stavris Sr. was also a veteran of The United States Navy and served during The Korean War.  He did not speak of the war much at home, and I believe it was because what he witnessed had a deep affect on him.  As our country prepares to send the men and women of our military into combat against world terrorism, I send my prayers and the prayers of my family to them and theirs!  Those of us who can't make this sacrifice place all our trust and all that we believe in with them with full faith that we all shall overcome.  We remember those that were lost on September 11, 2001, and those that have acted and continue to act as true American heroes and their families they have made us proud, and set the tone for the rest of us to follow!
